New Mechanical Engineer in South Florida!
Henry Glass, P.E., is an experienced mechanical forensic engineer now serving Haag's clients in Florida.
“We are pleased to welcome Henry Glass to Haag,” said Justin Kestner, President/CEO. "Based in West Palm Beach, Henry will expand Haag’s mechanical service offerings in Florida."
  • 39 years of engineering experience-- 8 years as a forensic engineer & 31 years in construction/design
  • Mr. Glass' forensic work includes inspecting and analyzing mechanical failures found in commercial buildings, machinery, appliances, and homes.

  • Mechanical failures--machinery, equipment failure evaluation, HVAC equipment, process equipment, furnaces, presses, rotating equipment fire and explosion analysis
  • Plumbing--piping and valves, pumps, component failure, residential fixtures, product liability
  • Fire Protection Systems--wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action; water storage tanks; fire pumps; warehousing [solid pile and rack storage]; refrigerated warehousing; ignitable liquid protection; aerosol protection; Special Protection including AFF and dry chemical
  • Code Compliance--equipment, mechanical, plumbing, accessibility, fuel gas
  • Moisture Source Evaluations --quality of manufacture and application; cause, nature, and extent of damage from hail and wind; remaining service life
  • Past design/construction work includes mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for industrial, institutional, educational, commercial, and residential applications. Also worked as a Building Inspector/Plans Examiner III (part-time)
  • Past projects include new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse, capital equipment installation & relocation, and destructive and non-destructive materials testing
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida
  • Masters of Business Administration, Rockhurst College
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, University of Kansas
  • Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Data Technician
  • Trained in Asbestos Abatement Project Supervision.
